Welcome from the Chairman of the Scientific Committee   JOIN US IN LIVERPOOL AT THE UK'S LARGEST OPHTHALMIC CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to The Royal College of Ophthalmologists Annual Congress. We are pleased to be returning to the ACC, Liverpool from 15th to 17th May 2012. We have again worked hard on the scientific programme and have chosen the best speakers in their different fields. These are dynamic internationally renowned lecturers. We are very pleased to welcome Bertil Damato, Wolfgang Drexler, John Forrester and Paul Mitchell who will be delivering our eponymous lectures this year. The third Retina Day at Congress will be held on Monday 14th May. The presentations complement content of the main meeting. Separate registration is required for the Retina Day. We will be holding a special Allied Professions Day on Wednesday 16th May and we encourage all our colleagues to attend.
